The one where I rave about makeup

Twas a fruitful day.

Went to the venue to buy stuff :D came away with a perfume, a high volume waterproof mascara and eye makeup remover (a lot easier than baby oil).

Just tried on L'oreal volume shocking mascara.

When the reviews said that "if you wear it, you can't ever pretend you like the natural look", I agree wholly.

My eyelashes are reasonably long (for an asian anyway), and reasonbly set out - not too sparse. So I needed something with a zoooosh. I don't wear makeup usually, and when I do, why not go for the all out effect?

I thought it would drag my eyelashes down like some other products have. No, I don't go out and buy makeup for fun. I use my lil sister's (unhygenic? Maybe, but really....I don't care, and neither do they. I don't spit in her makeup for goodness sake). To compensate for the extra drag I thought I'd crimp it just a little higher, so it would settle nicely.

Strangely the huge added weight does nothing to my eyelashes. It holds, and feels semi-natural, unlike the plasticky feel I got from another waterproof mascara I've used.

It works so well, it looks like I'm wearing fake eyelashes. As in dense and lush (badly crimped though.) I have dance practice tonight and thought I might sneak in wearing my makeup...but there goes my subtlety. I'll remove it before I get there.

:D my oh my am I pleased. I trust no other mascara from now on!

*edit*

But oh my oh my they are hard to get off. My eyelids hurt from me tugging on clumps of eyelash.

my dear don't tug your lashes!!!!

either just let them be there and they'll wear off by itself or get make up remover.
