Autumn fades, falling leaves

Another person I knew has just passed.

This time I actually knew him on a personal level.

Last time I saw him was in November. He kindly offered to show me around and asked me to visit him if I ever went to his home town...so jovial and full of life.

I don't think he ever thought that he'd be gone before a year's time.

I would never have thought that either.
