My bunny died today after a short illness. We buried it in the afternoon.
I thought it didn't look so great the afternoon before, but turns out it was worse than "not so great".
Sad. Feel guilty. Maybe there was something I could have done....
It was so sad to see it being slowly blanketed with dirt as we covered its grave.
RIP Flopsie. Sorry your time on earth was so short.

It happened too quickly.... :(
It left behind a friend (I had two bunnies). Its friend looks lonely now...and really it does look a sad :(, its mannerisms have changed somewhat. I wonder if it realises that its friend is never coming home?
:( sigh.
they realize it, trust me. Animals can be very sensitive.
well, there's always another option, get a new one! then ur remaining bunny won't be too lonely.
Lol yea, but this bunny doesn't seem as intelligent as my sister's bunny :P....he was hopping around when I tried to show him that we were burying his friend...so we made sure he knew that he wasn't coming home. :(
I *could* get another but the thing is my bunny isn't neutered. So....it has crazy bunny instincts (yes, even with guys). = =
That's the main reason I'm not putting my sister's bunny with mine, I've tried introducing them before but my bunnies are freaked out and try to kill him, while my sister's bunny tries to act out it's bunny instincts. = = sigh.
